The 12th International Agribusiness Exhibition and Seminars dubbed Agrilink/Foodlink 2005 was held last October 6 - 8, 2005 at the World Trade Center (Manila).
The event showcased both local and foreign suppliers and manufacturers of animal health and nutritional products, poultry and livestock automation equipment, feed manufacturers, ventilation, climate control system, breeding consultant, government agency, packaging products, foreign dignitaries, publications, fertilizers, and food processor. |

Indola International Philippines, Inc. Sales Manager Michael Montano, together with their foreign principals led by Indolec B.V. Managing Director D. Lindenberg and Export Sales Manager Ed van Wijk, showcased Indola’s BTV 200 duct fan, V-Series Propeller Fans, Axial Series Fans, Tube Axial Series Fan, EVK-125 Propeller Fan and Microtronic Climate Control System.

This year’s theme: “Efficient Supply Chain: Key to Competitiveness” focused on the emerging needs and evolving situation in the agricultural and food industry.
Agrilink/Foodlink 2005 Chairperson Soledad F. Agbayani said that as an industry competing in a borderless market, we are duty-bound for the success of each member, regardless of size.
Each member is intertwined with one another and the quality and price of a product that reaches the end-consumer depends on the efficiency of every member of its supply chain. The marketability of the product, whether in the local or int’l market will establish the success and failure, not only of the immediate producer but of the entire supply-chain. |
Department of Agriculture Sec. Domingo F. Panganiban was the keynote speaker for the Agrilink/Foodlink 2005 and also led the ribbon cutting ceremony along with Soledad F. Agbayani. Among those who graced the occasion were Senate Committee on Agriculture and Food Chairman Sen. Ramon B. Magsaysay, Jr.; Sen. Edgardo J. Angara; House Committee on Food and Agriculture and Fisheries Chairman Rep. Benasing Macarambon; Embassy of France Ambassador H.E. Renee Veyret; and Royal Netherlands Embassy Ambassador H.E. R.A. Vornis.
